Thursday’s Truth 12/28/17

This last month I been feeling like the Lord has been shifting a lot of things within my personal life and also His church. He has been changing my perspective on the way I saw many things recently. Just last month I wasn’t thinking this way, but when we hear the Lord speak and listen; everything can literally change from one day to another. There’s many things I pray I wish I was able to do but understand that I don’t have the luxury to do it. What I mean by that is I have a family. I’m a mother of 2 small children and a wife and something as beautiful like missionary work is something I will need to pray really hard about. Why I say this? Most missionary work are very time consuming and could involve a lot of financial support; that a mother of two probably can’t afford in either money or time. Missionary work has always had a place in my heart and God reminded me again how I can still love it as much as I do in the season I’m in at the moment. I might not be able to go on trips or afford to physically go myself, but I love it enough to invest on those who can go at the moment until God opens the doors for me to go myself. Financially I can help someone and be part of others journey and experience missionary work from afar. Missionary stories are always touching and even life changing, so for right now Im happy that the Lord has given me a job to help others go and spend the gospel and be part of it in some way.

What I’m trying to say with all this? Many times we have these desires in God’s kingdom that we can’t do at the moment. Our hearts desire it and we have a passion for it but our season just hasn’t open that door up for us. However if God has put something in your heart for His kingdom don’t let it go just because its not you physically going and doing it. Support what the Lord has placed in your heart until it’s you doing it. You will reap what you sow, it’s a promise He made us all. Even if its something small like picking up people and taking them to service. Maybe God has called you to be a pastor but hasn’t open the doors to the building in which you will establish your own congregation. However you being as supportive as you can to your current pastor will teach you everything you need when its your turn to run toward it. You need to invest in what you have been called into, even if it’s not your turn to work within it. Like the example of the transporter picking up people to take to church; that process will teach you how to fellowship and built relationship. That process will show you what city and location is in need of a temple. Invest in where God has called you to, even if its not your turn.

The best Christmas gift I could have ever gotten this year was supporting those that have similar callings. Seeing how much they were able to impact and bring joy, peace and love; made me have to cry in the presence of the Lord. I had to let tears flow out of me because I have seen how much my little bit contribute to a big amount , in order to give and help spread the news. The Lord remains us in Hebrews 6:10 that “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you helped his people and continue to help them.” Whatever God has called you to , you will one day be doing it. FOR YOU WERE CALLED AND MUST FULFILL IT! In John 20:21 Jesus repeats and remains us “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” YOU WILL BE SEND WHEN GOD BELIEVES IT’S YOUR TURN TO GO! During the mean time work in what you can do. In Matthew 9:37 Jesus remains his disciples “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Work! Don’t believe the enemy when he tells you something is too far or too much, so there’s no point in investing! He’s a liar and if God said it, He will do it! Begin today and be joyful! Understand that you’re part of a huge movement that couldn’t move if it wasn’t for your support! Support today and invest today, for one day people will support and invest in you. God knows all our desires and works in mysteries ways. BELIEVE IN HIM! BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD. THE SAME GOD THAT HEARS YOUR PRAYERS WILL ANSWER THEM ONE DAY SOON! WHATEVER YOU DO IN THE LORD’S PRESENCES WILL NEVER BE TAKEN IN VAIN.

Blessings brothers and sisters!

  1. I was discussing this subject with a friend today. He knows that God has a certain path for his life, but that path is not for now. Sometimes we have to wait. It is agonizing while we wait, but we understand why God delayed that assignment because there is a growth process necessary in order to do the work effectively.

    1. Amen. No one likes to go through the process but the beauty is in the process. The process is what helps design our armor, for the call we will one day walk in. No one can skip the process. When we try to skip it we are only cheating ourselves. God doesn’t want us to go out there and fail. He wants us well prepared to be able to impact lives the right way and prepare others.

  2. Amen. Mission trips have always been a part of my heart. I haven’t gotten the opportunity to go but it’s always a blessing to support those who go. Your time is coming. Sometimes, we have to be prepared for certain things but it’s all for a purpose. God bless you Victoria 🙂

Although many are called to foreign mission work, we are all called to reach out into our own part of the world, spreading the gospel of Christ. Here in America, we have a huge mission field. Missionaries are beign sent here to our land from other countries as they see America, the land of plenty, is also the land of the spiritually bling. Many have heard, but few know the Christ, including those who profess to be Christians.

Praying God opens your eyes to the mission field right in front of you where you walk and as you participate and join in what God is doing in your region, He will draw persons to Himself.

So many needs in this world and so many people searching, looking for something more. We hold within us this something more, it is Jesus, the hope of all. May His Spirit Life be upon you in a powerful way to teach, preach, and be Christ right where you are, allowing others to also see Him, and to Know Him in and through you.

    1. Yes Amen! I totally agree with you ! I have done lots of mission work where I’m currently located and seen God do many beautiful, shifting movements. I will continue all missionary works until God tells me, or moves me ! But thank you for your prayers 🙏🏼

  4. Thanks for following me! 🙂 God bless you! I used Hebrews 6:10 in the blog post I wrote before the last one I wrote. What you wrote was a confirmation for me to keep on doing what God has called me to do, even if it means doing things that lead up to it in the process. Thanks so much!
