Monday’s Mindset 12/18/17

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:8-9 NIV

Good afternoon my beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ! I pray that your Monday morning has been successful already. I pray that your mind has remained focus on the things above and not things that our human eye sights can see here on earth. I pray that whatever has tried to distract you already has fled from your mind, heart, and soul. I pray that you woke up with a fearless soul to just conquer this moment. To conquer this exact minute, the next 5 minutes, the next hours, days, and months. Remember who has the power and the authority to make the enemy bow down!

“Be STRONG and COURAGEOUS” said the Lord! “DO NOT BE AFRAID NOR GET DISCOURAGED”, warned the Lord. “FOR HE IS WITH US WHEREVER WE GO”. Isn’t that all so amazing to know? Do you know all the promises that the Lord has send toward your life? Well these are just a couple of them. Why fear when the Lord is always with us. He is always ahead of us clearing the way for us to walk through with less complication. Ready; all we need to do is mediate on the word day and night. We need to keep the Law and apply them. It’s easier said than done, but you take your leap of faith and God will handle the rest.

If you want to be successful today and accomplish any of your deep desires, you need to change your mindset. You need to understand that you can only live in this moment and remain focus on the right now. Don’t overwhelm yourself with long goals, but start with small ones. It can be as simple as just keeping a smile on today. It can be to say God bless to anyone that comes to you. Start small. The Lord remains us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:”. Stop looking at your time and start looking at the creator of time. When you start looking at the one who created time, you will see that there is more than enough hours to get things done today.

Everyone has gotten stuck on rushing through everything. I encourage you to breathe in and enjoy this moment. When you give yourself a second to enjoy every step, you will be more grateful when you achieve your goals/missions. Don’t be like these people who are always in a rush. Have you notice those that are always in a rush never get any where. They focus too much on looking at the clock and freaking out, than working. Don’t be like the Israelites! Don’t make your 11 day journey into a 40 year journey. Don’t live in the wilderness of your mind, and use the map that the Lord has designed for all of us. He’s our compass! Let Him guide you!

Blessing!

Structured Sunday’s

“Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” ~ Isaiah 35:3-4 NIV

Today is Sunday and for many people today marks the end of a weekend, and the beginning to a new week! So brothers and sisters lets welcome this new week with strong hands and knees! What do I mean by strong hands and knees ? Our hands and knees are what categorizes us as active or reserved soldiers in the kingdom of God. If we are not working that means our hands are not being used. If we are not moving and spreading the good news, and taking positions; then we are not doing at all what we were called to do.

Let’s talk about Jesus! We all have mouths and move them pretty while! Let’s start this week doing what’s in our advantage. I know when I first began talking about God or dropping His name in conversations, I will try after I had built a relationship with the other individual. I use to feel comfortable getting to know them first and observing their boundaries, that way I knew how to reply to any questions, advice, or comments. Eventually once I did that, speaking about the Lord will just come out like word vomit. Up to this day I never had someone tell me that I made them feel uncomfortable. The funny part is that once I opened up and tried to respond the way the Lord will want me to, they will ask immediately “are you christian?”. The Lord will fill our mouths when we need Him to. For the mean while we just need to be good listeners and allow people to vent.

KEY FACT: I know us humans always attempt to plot revenge to those who did us wrong; but remember that nothing we could ever plan will make us feel any better! That’s why the Lord encourages us in Romans 12:19, to leave the wrath in His hands. Life will go so smooth when we understand that we can’t remain in our emotions. Everyone is constantly going through things which can cause them to be irrational at times. Even those that purposely try to make your life a living nightmare, just pray and bless them. No one attacks for no reason. There is always a reason why someone treats another person a certain way. Most times the one attacking, is really attacking his own battles against someone else.

If you find yourself getting off baseline this week, take the proper steps to remain happy. Some people enjoy writing as therapy. Some enjoy reading a book. Others enjoy worshiping or listening to music. Some hear sermons. Others pray! However before you do any of theses things, speak to God. It’s OK to let God know your not having a great day. Let it all out and then use one of theses copping skills! I know when adults hear copping skills they always refer it to a child. However remember that the Lord reminds us in Matthew 18:3 and in Psalm 127:4; that we should have a mindset of a child and an endurance of a child. There is a reason why the Lord has us refer to children. Children are the best example of living in complete freedom and peace. They do not live on emotions because their not aware of them, and they conquer everything without any fear.

Be fearless this week! Be an example of the fruits of the spirit! Let God fight your battles and let God have full revenge on your enemies. Live in peace and stay focus on all the things you are grateful about.

Blessings!

Soul Food Saturday 12/16/17

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” ~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NIV

I pray that this Saturday has been a blessing for all of you! Let’s feed our soul the right way!

The Apostle Paul couldn’t have said it any better. The way this world operates and prepares, is not the say way us believers do. The Apostle Paul was very aware that we were going to face many obstacles in this walk. He also knew the right strategies to conquer theses mountains. Although we see our mountains and enemies we do not prepare ourselves to kill them. Let me explain.

This world fights their enemy with physical weapons. Weapons that destroy and do more harm than good. Weapons that could only carry so much bullets before it needs to be loaded again.Their swords could only cut so many and so deep, before it needs to be sharpened again. Although we don’t have the same weapons our processes for each weapon is slightly the same. What do we have similar? That eventually our weapons need to be recharged. The best part of it is that we don’t have to leave the battlefield or situation to get recharged, to be able to attack again. Our weapon and our strategy are attached to one another. We attack through prayer and we recharge through prayer.

Prayer is no secret. I’m pretty sure it’s been repeated numerous times during your walk. It’s important to have a prayer life. The enemy is always looking for a way to attack God’s children. Although he can see us he cannot have any place or intervene while we speak in private with the Lord. The Apostle Paul understood that if we pray before we face our battlefield, we can declare victory. He knew that if we remain in prayer throughout our fight in the field, we will for sure have victory. It’s important to pray before you approach any situation in your life. It could be good situations and it could be bad situations. However if we include God from the very beginning and during the middle of the processes, he will have complete control and intervene to help our outcome in the end. The important part is involving our Lord in absolutely everything we do. He is the only one that can prepare us the way we need to be prepared. For our weapons and our fights are not like the world. Our weapons have divine power to demolish strongholds. Strongholds that only through prayer will be broken. It’s not just simple prayers. Prayers that are consistent and focus on hearing God in every process.

Our pastors and our love ones don’t always mention prayer to annoy us, but because they know the power that it truly has in our lives. So my friends I’m going to repeat it one more time. Consistent prayer will help you fight any battle that you may be facing. Once you understand what prayer can really do, you will grow to really love it. At first it might feel uncomfortable, you might feel like you don’t know what to say, you might even forget to pray every single day. However prayer is like everything else that you try for the first time. Eventually you will become better each time that you do it. The difference between prayer and everything else is that even if you’re not consistent from the very beginning you will still have progress and growth. Prayer is not something that you will have to start from the beginning once you have stopped praying for a couple of days. There are many stories in the Bible that explains how great prayer is. One of my favorites is the story of Esther. Esther was a woman in the Bible that prayed and fast. She understood that through prayer she will have the breakthrough the Lord promised. Another great story was Joshua. Joshua understood that prayer before any fight it’s necessary for victory. He understood that if he did not pray before attacking Jericho he wasn’t going to have victory. Our all-time favorite part of the whole Bible is Jesus process. Before anything he did or touched or said, Jesus demonstrated the need to pray first. Before he even came close to the crucifixion Jesus showed that he needed to separate himself in prayer. He needed to lay everything down to God through prayer. Theses are just a couple of examples of the stories that involve prayer in the Bible. They’re all amazing and life-changing. So if you want a life changing situation in your life, you must pray.

Blessings!

Thursday’s Truths 12/14/17

“Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

1 Corinthians 15:33 NIV

Quick and simple! It’s important to know the people you surround yourself with. The ones who don’t edify you spiritually and ones that do. Not all friends are healthy relationships. A true friend will tell you what you refuse to accept about yourself, and still remain a support system for you. Friends that company you victimizing yourself, are not good ones! Friends are not so much for company but for the empowerment of when two or more are joined in the Lord’s presences. If the relationship doesn’t become a movement that glorifies God, your wasting your time.

Yes the Lord was always surrounded by people who were broken in many ways. Although these people came to the Lord with so many problems, the Lord shows us how to handle these problems. Your self care and spiritual self, needs to be able to not get affected by your surroundings. When in doubt pray, and even if you know how to handle people or the situation still pray. Prayer is the answer to everything ! Pray for the friends you have, or want. Pray for the discernment to know who are meant to be in your life for a lifetime or a season. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, and PRAY!

It might be easy to make friends, but it’s not easy breaking the chains that their presences caused your life to get tangled in. Being a witness to ungodly things are dangerous! Pray wisely!

The Beauty Within Worship

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”~ Deuteronomy 6:5

I love to worship the Lord. Not because I was taught to. Not because I want something. I praise Him for who He was, is and will continue to be. I praise Him to encounter a deeper understanding of who He is. I praise Him to have a deeper understanding of who He has called me to be.

To worship the Lord, is to allow yourself to enter into another dimension. A dimension where only God and you can be. A dimension that only you can enter when you truly give your whole heart, soul, and strength to Him. A worship that will elevate the Lord’s heart when He sees and hears you. A worship that leaves you no other option, but to leave changed. If your worship to the Lord isn’t changing you, evaluate how your worshipping.

This week so far I had one song on repeat. It’s a worship song that I have found very difficult to sing. The words speak in such depth who the Lord is, that I can’t help but to get choked up. Even in worshiping through dance, has been difficult. It’s a song that causes you to just be in awe of His greatness. A song that allows you to just stare into the Lord’s heart and hear how it beats for you and all His children. The song is called So Will I (100 billion x) by Amanda Cook. This song has many covers, this is just my preference. The song is originally from Hillsongs United. Below I will leave you the lyrics. I pray that you will enjoy this moment of worship. I pray that you will be able to declare out loud every word this song saids. I hope you can declare the greatness of the Lord with no shame but with the upmost gratitude. His love is beyond comprehension. We can never fathom all things He has done from beginning to end. However we can find a new reason everyday to love and seek Him, with every breath of our being.

“So Will I (100 Billion X)”

God of creation

There at the start, before the beginning of time

With no point of reference

You spoke to the dark and fleshed out the wonder of light

And as You speak

A hundred billion galaxies are born

In the vapour of Your breath the planets form

If the stars were made to worship, so will I

I can see Your heart in everything You’ve made

Every burning star, a signal fire of grace

If creation sings Your praises, so will I

God of Your promise

You don’t speak in vain, no syllable empty or void

For once You have spoken

All nature and science, follow the sound of Your voice

And as You speak

A hundred billion creatures catch Your breath

Evolving in pursuit of what You said

If it all reveals Your nature, so will I

I can see Your heart in everything You say

Every painted sky, a canvas of Your grace

If creation still obeys You, so will I

So will I, so will I

If the stars were made to worship, so will I

If the mountains bow in reverence, so will I

If the oceans roar Your greatness, so will I

For if everything exists to lift You high, so will I

And if the wind goes where You send it, so will I

If the rocks cry out in silence, so will I

If the sum of all our praises still falls shy

Then we’ll sing again a hundred billion times!

God of salvation

You chased down my heart through all of my failure and pride

On a hill You created

The light of the world abandoned in darkness to die

And as You speak

A hundred billion failures disappear

Where You lost Your life so I could find it here

If You left the grave behind You, so will I

I can see Your heart in everything You’ve done

Every part designed in a work of art called love

If You gladly chose surrender, so will I

I can see in Your heart, eight billion different ways

Every precious one, a child You died to save

If You gave Your life to love them, so will I

Like You would again a hundred billion times

But what measure could amount to Your desire?

You’re the One who never leaves the one behind

Wednesday Worship 12/6/17 ❤️

What are you listening to ? Comment below your favorite song at the moment. If you have more than one, list them. Below is one of my favorite worship songs ( their are many covers to this one song, Bethel worship and upper room worship, are my favorite). It speaks in many different ways to heart! The song is an awesome reminder of how great the Lord is! It expresses His loyalty to us and endless faithfulness!

“King Of My Heart” ~ Bethel Music, Steffany Gretzinger & Jeremy Riddle lyrics

“Let the King of my heart

Be the mountain where I run

The fountain I drink from

Oh, He is my song

Let the King of my heart

Be the shadow where I hide

The ransom for my life

Oh, He is my song

‘Cause You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

And let the King of my heart

Be the wind inside my sails

The anchor in the waves

Oh-oh, He is my song

Let the King of my heart

Be the fire inside my veins

The echo of my days

Oh-oh, He is my song

Let the King of my heart

Be the wind inside my sails

The anchor in the waves

Oh-oh, He is my song

Let the King of my heart

Be the fire inside my veins

The echo of my days

Oh, He is my song

‘Cause You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You’re never gonna let

You’re never gonna let me down

And You’re never gonna let

You’re never gonna let me down

You’re never gonna let

You’re never gonna let me down

You’re never gonna let

You’re never gonna let me down

Oh ’cause You are good

You are good, oh-oh

‘Cause You are good

You are good, oh-oh

‘Cause You are good

You are good, oh-oh

You are good

You are good, oh-oh..

You’re never gonna let

You’re never gonna let me down”

I pray that the Lord speaks to your spirit, while you hear the song.

God bless you brothers and sisters,

Translation Tuesdays 12/5/17 💛

~Comparte tu testimonio.

Crea con toda tu alma, espíritu y cuerpo todo lo que lees!

Aquí hay algunas canciones de adoración que hablan sobre la libertad que Dios nos ha prometido.

1. Vivo estás- Hillsong Worship

2. Hay libertad- Art Aguilera

3. Free -kierra Sheard

4. Jubileo (Hay libertad aqui) – New Wine

5. Rompimiento- New Wine

Amen.

Monday’s Mindset 12/04/17 💙

Have you ever studied the ocean long enough, to notice that each current speaks a different process.

A different language.

A different perspective.

A different reason.

A different desire.

A different need.

A different response.

One huge body of water.

Yet so many subunits working separated but for the same ocean.

Gallons of water crashing against the same forces that are trying to pull them apart.

Separated yet uniquely the same.

Apart yet extremely close.

Flowing waters that refreshes the soul.

Not good enough to drink, but to be amongst.

Not easy to be amongst, yet steady enough to balance you within its gravity.

It’s gravity could easily shift you, yet protect you.

Protect you from drowning since you have yet to learn to walk boldly on top of the waves.

Yet you of little faith just got saved by grace.

Your doubts hindered you from reaching to me.

This ocean is your mind, tainted wildly.

Calm your currents and trust me freely.

Freedom from the only one who could offer it to you endlessly.
