Abide (AAA – Accept, Act, in Accordance)

Abide in my words.

Abide in my wisdom.

Abide in my purpose.

Abide constantly in obedience.

Abide to me as I to you.

Abide whole heartedly even in your weakness.

Abide to survive offenses for more often than not you will be persecuted.

Accept your calling.

Accept your authority.

Accept correction in time of worry.

Accept the training from your testimony.

Accept the confidence and walk boldly.

Accept, act and walk in accordance.

Any step toward abiding, is one step toward progress.

This list can go on forever, but it’s evident that this topic is important. The Lord was very clear that we must abide in him to walk this walk. We must have an oneness with him at all times. We cannot do anything without him! We are lifeless without him! But we are very much alive when we are walking with him! To abide is to accept! To accept is to act! And to act is to walk in accordance! Abide, accept, act, and accordance. It’s impossible to limit any of these words if we want to walk this walk right.

One of the Lord’s biggest desire for us, is to be with us. There is so much power that comes from abiding. There’s no secret that two are better than one. There’s no secret that the power comes from abiding in obedience toward God. There’s no secret that when we walk in obedience the father’s love is seen more clearly. Take the dust off your eyes and abide in the Lord. Don’t get side tracked with what you want to see but don’t. How you abide, accept, and act according to your purpose; is what helps you see spiritually what’s really in front of you.

Below are some bible verses;

•“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” ~Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

•“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” ~John 15:4-11

•“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” ~1 John 4:16

PRAYER:

“Lord I thank you for reaching for me in the moment you found me. I thank you for all your promises of you truly loving me and wanting me. In my moments of weakness and in my moments of strength, help me abide in your word. Help me accept whatever it is for I could move forward, in this walk. I want to be one accord with you. I know I can’t do this alone and understand that you didn’t want me to embark it alone. I understand that you are the light, lighting my every step. I understand that I have you to lean on always. I understand that I need you in this walk. Thank you for rescuing me over and over again. Amen.”

God bless you brothers and sisters,
