Brokenness = Overflow of Grace

“I come, God, I come

I return to the Lord

The one who’s broken

The one who’s torn me apart

You struck down to bind me up

You say You do it all in love

That I might know You in Your suffering

Though You slay me

Yet I will praise You

Though You take from me

I will bless Your name

Though You ruin me

Still I will worship

Sing a song to the one who’s all I need

My heart and flesh may fail

The earth below give way

But with my eyes, with my eyes I’ll see the Lord

Lifted high on that day

Behold, the Lamb that was slain

And I’ll know every tear was worth it all

Though You slay me

Yet I will praise You

Though You take from me

I will bless Your name

Though You ruin me

Still I will worship

Sing a song to the one who’s all I need

Though tonight I’m crying out

Let this cup pass from me now

You’re still all that I need

You’re enough for me

You’re enough for me

Though You slay me

Yet I will praise You

Though You take from me

I will bless Your name

Though You ruin me

Still I will worship

Sing a song to the one who’s all I need

Sing a song to the one who’s all I need”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” ~ Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Trusting in the Lord in the midst of pain is by far one of the hardest things to do, but very much necessary ! Trust is not easy but it’s key when we are in the middle of any affliction throw at us. Trust is important in this walk of faith! There are many things we all can go through where we will never have the answers to them, and when that happens it’s ok ! We don’t need the whys even though we want them ! What we need to hold on to during the pain is that God is in control, remembering god’s promise to us about the situation, and healing and restoration for each individual involved ! That is why we must trust ! Even if we need to force ourselves to do it we must! For the pain we are enduring now doesn’t compare to what the Lord went through for us! Nor does it compare to the joy and plans he has for us moving forward! The Lord is faithful and what He throws at us is because He knows we will come out of it victorious! God is a good God even through the pains that this world can cause us!
