“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” ~ Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV
I’m finally back and ready to share with you all, my journey these last couple of months!
I hope and pray that you all are doing great! I pray that this year has been a year of more love and growth, for you all!
Let’s start with God has been more than good to me this year. Regardless of all the hard falls and lessons, God has been very present in my life. I can truly see and say that God is a God of the impossible. He is faithful. He is intentional. He is truly my ABBA father. He has given me so much things to why I love Him more and more each second of the day.
Now because of all God has done for me I felt the need to share why! Be very careful like the scripture saids above! The times are becoming more evil and satan is working overtime to kill whatever seed is placed in us. A couple of months back I was going through a process with the Lord that I just couldn’t answer. He began showing me things and speaking to me in ways I never knew Him to do before. His voice began to be a normal thing in my life. Truly a blessing in many ways! During this process I was determined to live wise! I will read my Bible, study the word and most importantly apply it to myself. With time I started to see that the process I was walking in was more for me, than anything else. I started to see that God needed to change a couple of areas in my life that wasn’t aligning so great with His. He called us to be His image and work daily on being more like Christ. However when He sees that with our strength we can’t, that’s when He steps in! God stepped in my life!
After having a couple of tough months but also months of victory, the enemy started to work even harder. He began to use anything or anyone to remove my focus from God. I felt that the breakthrough was closer and God even confirmed it! However the breakthrough began to feel long distances to my flesh! That was the first error I did! I allowed my flesh to dictate what I feel instead of the Holy Spirit showing me how I should be feeling. By the time I was able to wake up and try to align myself with God’s vision, I was too deep!
I learned two things! Unfortunately I learned these two things by having a moment of suffering! Suffering is never good but I have learned it’s very necessary for God to work in areas in our life that in another situation we wouldn’t allow Him to work through. One; we are called to follow Him and live by the spirit not the flesh! We are not God to determine when we should test ourselves in certain areas. Don’t test yourself in areas because you will fail if God hasn’t work with you in that area. The enemy tempts us enough, so don’t do it to yourself! Two; to live wise you most always be walking by the spirit! There is no such thing as being wise outside of God! Sooner or later you will dig yourself in a pity and fall right into your own trap.
If God is walking you through a process and you have finished His instructions, don’t get desperate to see an outcome! Usually we walk in full obedience to see our reward, but we final to see the first reward that God gave us! He changed me! He changes us first the one walking in the process. It’s very important to be wise and remain faithful to God’s promise. If He said it, He will do it! Wait on God’s time and don’t let the enemy steal from you your reward just because you became impatient with God.
Make most of your situation regardless of how painful it is! Enjoy that moment by getting closer to God and hearing Him speak life right into you. Don’t listen to unwise men! Unwise men is anyone in our life that is not trying to live out God’s purpose! I’m being very serious, don’t listen to them! Satan will use your favorite person in this world to try to speak life into you. It’s going to sound very good to our ears but your spirit will begin to feel very troubled! Listen to your spirit, it’s right ! Usually what people advice us is completely opposite from what God wants you to do! Unwise men advices only reach so far, and is short lived! Endure whatever it is that God wants you to persevere through because the reward is long lived!
I miss you all and can’t wait to hear from you !
Blessings ~ Victoria 💛
