I Surrender

I Surrender

“If worship’s like perfume, I’ll pour mine out on you

For there is none as deserving of my love like you

So take my hand and draw me into you

I want to be swept away, lost in love for you

All to you, I surrender

Everything, every part of me

All to you, I surrender

All of my dreams, all of me

I surrender” ~ Jesus Culture

This morning as I heard these lyrics I couldn’t help but position myself the best way I know how. I couldn’t help but humble myself and lay flat out in the presences of God. In the mist of God blessing us on a daily from the smallest blessing to the largest, there is still that one thing God is waiting for us to surrender but to Him.

It could be to surrender your life 💯 to Him again like the beginning.

It could be your job.

It could be your plans.

It could be your hopes.

It could be your children.

It could be your family.

It could be your marriage.

It could be friendships.

It could be your own thoughts.

It could be your dreams.

It could be….anything !

It could be anything but God wants it all! He knows what is afflicting you and what’s weighing you down. He knows what’s best for you and what you need. He knows the plans for your life and He wants you to receive it all when your ready to. He is a good God and He will remain a good God!

He is good when you don’t receive answers.

He is good when you are being processed.

He is good when everyone is not treating you accordingly.

He is good even if everyone loves you.

He is good when everything is falling apart.

He is good when nothing makes sense.

He is good even in your doubts.

He is good even when you believe he isn’t.

God is good all the time. He is faithful.

In those moments where we surrender the worse part of our being, He still loves us! He still wants to delight in us. He still hears us. He still comes to our rescue. He still cleans us. He still works with us. He will always be a “I will still do this” type of God.

But we must humble ourselves to the Lord and surrender voluntarily our deepest secrets and desires. Sometimes our next breakthrough, blessing, and answer is just a surrender away.

If God tells us to cast our burdens and thoughts to Him is because He can do something with it. He could transform it! His hands are the best ones for your life!
