Welcome 2022

Be A Tree Planted Near Streams Of Water

God bless you all! I hope you all have started this year on the right page. What do I mean by that? I hope that everyone entered this year healthy, at peace, hopeful, joyful, eager to seek and find. I hope this year began with a new slate to be different this year and to be purposeful in all that you are doing. I can’t speak what’s within anyone’s heart, but I pray it’s postured to receive all that you have sowed up to now. I hope and pray that this year will be what your heart desires.

I didn’t want to open my first blog this year with going directly to the word of God but give you all my hopes and prayers first. Now let me go into my favorite part to why I blog in the first place. Let’s go into the word and may it encourage you and help you as need it.

Below I left a link to the word I want to study or you can search it in your bible.

Psalm 1: 1-3  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%201&version=NIV

The some of the whole psalm is to be planted correctly in the Lord. Verses 1- 3 exhorts directly to not choose the wicked ways and to remain firm on the right path. It tells us to not “walk” and to not “sit”, meaning that we must be careful of our surroundings. Unless if the Lord is leading you to an assignment or you are walking in your purpose (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), don’t linger around those who can cause you to fall into a pit for no reason. “Bless is the one…”  who is with the Lord and who takes delight in Him. Those who take delight in Him always, “day and night”. Those individuals will be planted correctly “like a tree”, they will “yield its fruit” and “whatever they do prospers”

Today’s study was short but very important. May we be wise this year with who we decide to surround ourselves with. I encourage you all to give yourself some grace and mercy. Although we are light amongst darkness, we shouldn’t do anything without the Lord being the center and our guide. Many times we enter situations and it becomes a huge burden. We know that what the Lord calls us to do, will have its difficult moments, but He does promise us that His “yoke is easy and my burden is light” Matthew 11:30. Do not tempt yourself in things that God has yet to strength you in. Do not think you have to save the whole world because that’s what Jesus did on the cross. Do not write a crazy list this year of things to make you a better Christian. For its not by works but by grace we are saved. It is God’s mercy that saves us. Do what you are called to. If you are in a still moment, take advantage and get deeper with the Lord! Keep pressing through!
