“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” Colossians 4:2 NLT
“Storms don’t come to teach us painful lessons, rather they were meant to wash us clean.”

We must remain watchful and alert over our soul. Tribulations come to discourage and crush our spirits. Remember that the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Meaning, that the tribulations will be send aggressively. However, God is in the fire with us each time tribulations come into our life. When we have God, the tribulations still hurt but we can press through much easier, then when we try with our own strength.
God encourages to have a lifestyle of prayer, to remind us that we should remain dependent on him. Only HIM. Becoming dependent on Him will help us live a more joyful and peaceful life. Is it possible to have joy and peace during tribulations? With God everything is possible (Matthew 19:26). Maybe everything won’t make sense at the moment, but peace and joy could still be reached in the storms.
When we hold on to every good thing from the Lord, our heart gets filled with it. When we pray, let’s give the same amount of thanks to the Father, just how we give our worries. For when we give thanks it helps us focus on what matters and what’s important. Your situation matters greatly but you are still beyond bless because the Lord is on your side. He guides you, leads you, surrounds you, and protects you.
